It's true as a marketer of any type the only thing you are doing is....recruiting. You recruit people to your team which most of us understand but you also recruit new customers to your client base. That's it in a nutshell. Being a good marketer means being a good recruiter.

It's time to brush up on your recruiting skills. Here are some tips to do just that.
Be complimentary-Sincere compliments will open the door faster than anything else. Acknowledge people for their intelligence, success or anything else that you see good about them. This is the easiest of all the steps.

Build the relationship-talk to people about themselves. That's everyone's favorite topic. Ask questions that will help you to get to know about them. Where are you from? What do you do for a living? Are you married? Do you have children? Get some background on your prospect, let them know you are interested.

Use tools-Your tools will build interest. One of the biggest tools we have available is advertising. That is what will get them to look at your specific offers and opportunities. Other tools can be websites, promotional materials, free offers etc.

Follow up-this is the most important step of all. We know it takes 5-7 exposures to get a sale. Always follow up with your prospects, if you don't someone else will step in and take your "sale". These exposures are priming the pump, the last thing you want to do is have someone else get the benefit of your hard work.

Remember keep it simple. The best marketers and recruiters don't complicate things.
