Tips for the new marketers
Rule of thumb never think that you are going to be successful overnight.
Getting involved with something new takes a lot of work on your end.
Then you need to research what is most important to you and what you
believe in and gather enough information so it is easily explained when
you are approached by someone about it.
Marketing is more than just products, it could be a testimonial of something
you have tried or experienced.
All succesful marketers come from all forms. But the benefits of an experienced
marketer comes from continued work, learning from other marketers on how to
market in a different manner if their technique is vague. To be noticed is to stay
focused and get the word out.
By getting the word out you reach millions of people and majority have and interest
in what you have to offer or say.
Knowing who to market to will enable your growth as an online marketer. Our
customers is our greatest reward because we want to make them happy.
Satisfied customers builds a business to produce more and more.
Then once the business begin to grow so will your wealth.
Take your time getting started
Ask questions

I also looked into this video course about the usage of Mini Websites for Profits by Mike Rasmussen. its much of a tedious course (2hrs) that may require multipled sittings, I completed the course in three sittings, nevertheless, combines a well put together narrated presentation. Sheila advice is very good, but in reference to the comment "Ask questions" I would like to add this comment.

In my experiences in the last 4 and a half years with asking questions is that I find many times that I wear out "my welcome" so to speak because I have difficulty in understanding how to do some things. I try to follow the instructions given but somehow they never seem to work the first few times and then the one being asked the questions get tired of answering and I am left to figure it out on my own. Remember each individual is different and some are slow learners, so be patient. I am not referring to those who just want a free ride, but there are those who need help for the same things over and over until they grasp the concept of how to do it.
